Wally

We are pleased to present Mr. Fix It, presently owned by a Flat Hat Farms client.

Wally is a 2016 model, APHA registered, Sorrel/Overo gelding. Own son of the very successful Mechanic. Wally is by Mechanic (QH) out of a Zippos Old Gold mare, Old Golds Rendition. Wally is a really beautiful horse, with lots of presence when he walks into a barn or an arena. He is very sure of himself and is quite the showman.

Wally is 15.2 hands, 1000 lbs.

Wally has recently had 90 days of individual training, with the focus on barn behavior, standing for farrier, stand for grooming, loading into a trailer, leading, traveling in and out of barns and paddocks. Wally is best suited for Western Pleasure (as was his sire), All Around Show Horse, Halter classes. He has been exposed to English riding as well, with schooling at WTC. Currently riding in a Mecate / Snaffle bit. Has exhibited soreness in the right front and we are managing with corrective shoeing. Very basic diet and he is doing well on 4 lbs of Purina Senior per day, no supplements, and local grass hay. Wally is best ridden by at least an experienced intermediate rider.
